Supplying A4 Paper to Nigeria – Delivery to Apapa Port
2026-03-09

Nigeria is one of the biggest importers of A4 copy paper in West Africa. A trading company located in Lagos contacted us looking for a long-term supplier of 75gsm A4 copy paper.

The buyer’s main concern was shipping reliability because congestion at Apapa Port often causes delays. During our first conversation, the client asked:

“Can you guarantee good packing? Sometimes paper gets damaged due to humidity during the rainy season.”

To address this issue, we explained our export packing method:

  • Each ream wrapped in moisture-resistant paper

  • Five reams packed in a strong export carton

  • Palletized container loading for stability

The shipment details were:

  • Port of loading: Qingdao Port

  • Destination: Apapa Port, Lagos

  • Container: 20ft

  • Quantity: about 1600 cartons

Payment terms were agreed as TT 30% deposit and 70% before shipment.

After the cargo arrived in Lagos and cleared customs, the buyer told us the paper sold well in the local wholesale market around Lagos Island. The client has since become a regular customer.
